White paper of Greenlion Project including a summary of achievements.

The purpose of the Greenlion  project, co-funded by the EU’s Seventh Framework Programme for Research and with an overall budget of €8.6M, was to develop a range of technologies used to design and manufacture high-performance “Greener” li-ion batteries for electric vehicle applications, always with an eye towards eco-design, recyclability, and minimising environmental impact. In order to increase the added value of the developed work, a white paper summarizing, for each process, the key problematic and describing the main breakthroughs achieved has been produced and made available to the batteries' community.
